Sustainable, natural and minimalist lighting

Everyone wants to enjoy a comfortable, beautiful and healthy home. The pandemic in which we have been immersed for 2 years now, has urged us to be more at home and to enjoy it. The slow life influences the decoration of our home and lighting.

Thus, we are looking for what experts call warm minimalism, natural environments where responsible consumption with an ecological look prevails. Lamps made with natural fibers or recycled materials and more efficient and durable light sources. LED lighting helps sustainable design thanks to its high efficiency and low consumption. But also in the reduction of waste due to its greater durability.

In terms of design, smooth designs with organic lines continue. In part we continue, with the lighting trends of 2021: luminaires with natural fibers and rounded shapes, which we already talked about in our post on Lighting Trends 2021.

Nordic and industrial style also in lamps

This is not a novelty either, these two styles have been with us for a few years now and they still have a lot of life ahead of them. Simple lamps that align with minimalist furniture or more industrial style lamps, in metallic tones that add character to the rooms, looking for vintage lighting that takes us to other eras.

Indirect lighting with LED strips

We love LED strips. And, thanks to them, we can play with the lighting of a room like never before. Hidden behind the ceiling baseboards, under the kitchen furniture, behind the TV… The options are endless and this 2022 they will continue to step hard, especially to set rooms with indirect lighting on baseboards and walls.

Smart and connected lighting

Alexa, turn on the kitchen light. A phrase that, if you still don’t use it in your home, we’re sure you’ll do soon… And who says Alexa says Siri or any other smart home distosive. The fact is that one of the most important trends in 2022 will be the normalization of connected lighting. Wifi bulbs, ceiling lights and other smart devices will reach Spanish homes with force.
